We currently use an alcohol-based stain, finished with a water-based satin top coat and a wax polish. Due to the time constraints of the class, this is the finish we offer.
Not only does this method provide a beautiful, aged feel—similar to a violin-style finish—but it’s also environmentally friendly, dries quickly, and feels cool to the touch. We use this exact finish on our custom commissioned guitars as well.
This keeps it clear, engaging, and professional while incorporating your requested changes. Let me know if you'd like any further refinements!
